Conflict between colleagues can have a significant impact on the performance and wellbeing of healthcare professionals, as well as affecting patient experience and patient safety.
Conflict can come with the territory of healthcare, but relationship breakdown between colleagues offers a unique challenge. This course will look at why conflict occurs, and how we can identify and unravel workplace conflict situations. We will help you distinguish between destructive conflict and constructive disagreement, and how to move towards an active, more structured approach to resolving the differences we find within our colleagues

- Understand the impact and causes of interpersonal conflict in a healthcare context
- Identify when a conflict is escalating and how to manage it
- Learn strategies for having better conversations with colleagues
