Learn how to manage conflict as a team using the MMF Conflict Management Framework (CMF)
Our Level 2 Intermediate training is aimed at senior nursing, medical and allied healthcare providers who have completed Level 1 training and have responsibility for managing conflict within their clinical specialties. It is focused on how to use the Conflict Management Framework at difficult stages of conflict escalation.
This training teaches you to:
Use the MMF Conflict Management Framework, particularly at difficult stages of conflict escalation.
Participants will have the opportunity to role-play managing conversations at different stages of conflict. Included in the training is a package of useful documents including template letters for families/parents/caregivers and Acceptance of Responsibility agreements.
One-day face to face or virtual workshop
Level 2 Intermediate training involves training on the CMF itself, supplemented by associated documents such as template letters to families/parents/carers, Acceptance of Responsibility Agreements and role practice in managing conflict conversations at different stages of escalation.
In house mentors or conflict management “champions” able to model the skills and approach to conflict management and support other members of staff in having challenging conversations, can be appointed from this cohort.
